Healthcare Response Advocate
Next Step is seeking a compassionate and driven Hospital Response Advocate to join our Legal Team. This position supports survivors of domestic violence and related crimes through crisis intervention, court accompaniment, and hospital accompaniment.
The Healthcare Response Advocate will respond to hospital referrals involving domestic violence and strangulation, assist with Protection from Abuse (PFA) orders, support survivors in finding safe housing, and work closely with medical staff, law enforcement, and legal partners to enhance survivor safety and offender accountability.
