Did you know that 1 in 3 high school students have been or will be in a relationship with someone who uses power and control against them?
February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Our goal is to help students understand how to get help if they need it.
To do this, we’ve come up with a virtual toolkit for schools. Educators can share the information in their Google classroom, print and use graphics on bulletin boards, schedule an appointment with NextStep for a virtual classroom presentation or all of the above.
We are here to help empower young people to make healthy choices as they start dating.

Eastport is breaking the silence of intimate partner abuse in July through 25 Finding Our Voices "Let's Talk About It" downtown window banners all around the town, each featuring the face and voice of a Maine survivor plus the 24/7 NextStep helpline phone number, and a public (safe distancing) celebration on July 25.
