Regardless of your gender, sexual orientation, age, race or religion, we can help you find safe, affordable housing. Our own family and pet-friendly units may be available.

We know that the shortage of affordable housing is often an obstacle in Maine, especially for people who want to leave an abusive relationship but feel they have limited options. Thankfully, we have a supportive housing program that may help you achieve the independence and stability you need and deserve.

Our affordable family housing is open to you regardless of your gender, sexual orientation, age, race, or religion – individually or with your children and pets.

During your residency, our staff will connect you to our services, offer emotional support, help you set goals, and provide ongoing assistance to secure permanent housing. You may choose to attend support groups, continue your education, secure employment, obtain legal assistance, receive financial planning support, and connect with additional community resources.

If access to safe and affordable housing is a barrier for you and your family to leave an abusive situation, please speak with an advocate at our 24/7 Helpline, 1-800-315-5579.

If our housing does not currently have space, or is not a good fit for you, our advocate will help you connect to other affordable housing resources.
